A quick little video snippet today that is not so much about the movement but much more about overcomming fear.
I have done many backflips in the gym under the supervision of Alex my coach. It is a bit scary every time but I feel pretty safe.
Today I went from the gym to the big outdoors determined to do a backflip on the grass. If I had taped the time it took me to build up to the actuall event I would have run out of tape and you would fall asleep.
I went to the pool and did a couple of back flips into the water just to get my neural path ways firing. Then I had my friend Ross give me a boost on the grass.
Then I closed my eyes and visualised myself executing a huge powerfull backflip. The rest is history.
If you want to do something believe in yourself and give it 100%.
