Today we will look at some techniques for relieving back pain . A lot of back pain is caused by compression and flexion . Instead of trying to carry out general stretching for the lumbar spine which may cause further pain it is a good idea to gently decompress and locally stretch the area .
- Do not work too fast or over stretch
- Pump the lower back with the natural recoil of the tissues
- Do not force anything
- Do not over rock this will stimulate the sympathetic nervous system
